Care & Use

  • Wash in hot, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
  • Suitable for all heat sources except microwave.
  • Medium or low heat is recommended, high heat is for boiling water only.
  • Silicone, wooden, or heat-resistant plastic tools are recommended.
  • Metal tools require special care, no sharp utensils such as knives to avoid scraping the base.
  • Black phenolic lid knobs are heat-resistant up to 500Β°F / 250Β°C for Signature range, and 390Β°F / 190Β°C for Classic range.
  • Soak in warm water for 15-20 minutes for stubborn residues to avoid possible thermal shock with cold water.
  • Use nylon or soft abrasive pads, avoid metallic pads or harsh cleaners.
  • Dishwasher safe, though constant use may dull enamel finish.
  • Use Le Creuset cookware cleaner for light stains or metal marks.

Cooking Tips

  • Preheat grill for searing, ensure surface is hot.
  • Tip: Scatter a few drops of water over a hot surface, if it sizzles and evaporates, it is hot and ready to use.
  • Use vegetable, groundnut, or corn oils; avoid olive oil for excessive smoking.
  • Pat dry foods before grilling for best sear lines.
  • Heat fat or oil and pan together.
  • Oil is hot enough with a gentle ripple on the surface; for butter and other fats, bubbling indicates correct temperature.
  • Remove from heat if smoking or browning occurs.

Care & Use

  • Condition the interior nonstick cooking surface with vegetable or corn oil on a paper towel and rub the entire surface
  • Suitable for all heat sources except microwave.
  • Medium or low heat is recommended for the majority of cooking
  • Medium to high heat for searing meat, poultry, or fish, then reduce heat once the pan is hot
  • Oven temperature should not exceed 500Β°F / 260Β°C, and maintain a 2-inch distance from the heat source when broiling
  • Silicone, wooden, or heat-resistant plastic tools are recommended.
  • Metal tools require special care, no sharp utensils such as knives to avoid scraping the base.
  • Cool the pan before cleaning; soak in hot soapy water for stubborn residues to avoid possible thermal shock with cold water
  • Use recommended nonstick cleaning, avoid metal or abrasive pads.
  • Dishwasher safe, but handwashing is recommended
  • Use Le Creuset cookware cleaner for light stains or metal marks.
  • Remove dulling or white deposits with a gentle nylon pad

Care & Use

Condition the surface with cooking oil, heat pan for 2 minutes over medium heat, cool and rinse with hot water, dry thoroughly.

  • Oven-proof up to 500Β°F / 260Β°C and suitable for all conventional ovens. Fry pans can also be used under the broiler.
  • Avoid preheating the pan on high heat and then lowering it for cooking to prevent overheating.
  • Silicone, wooden, or heat-resistant plastic tools are recommended.
  • Metal tools require special care, no sharp utensils such as knives to avoid scraping the base.
  • Let the pan cool before washing, soak in warm water, avoid possible thermal shock with cold water plunge on hot pan
  • Use nylon or soft abrasive pads, avoid metallic pads or harsh cleaners.
  • Use a proprietary stainless steel cleaner to remove hard water lime scale and other marks, and to condition, polish, and protect inner and outer surfaces.
  • Tri-Ply Stainless Steel cookware, including nonstick-coated pieces, is dishwasher safe.

Cooking Tips

  • Add enough oil to cover the base of the pan.
  • Heat the oil gently and turn the pan to cover the side walls.
  • Remove the pan from the heat, let it cool, and clean it with a paper towel.
  • Add some more oil, fat or butter, and begin cooking as normal.
  • Season the food only after searing on the hot surface.
  • Turn food only when the surface has seared and it is easily released.
  • Reduce the temperature after searing.
