Making a Laguiole is a complex process that requires a genuine know-how, and includes many essential steps such as stamping, cutting, deburring, generating guilloche patterns, shaping, trimming and polishing. The long manufacturing process (the shaping and fitting are achieved by hand) and the materials used, make each knife a unique piece; with a 7 to 21 cm blade, a corkscrew and punch. Custom handle materials you have the opportunity to choose from: wood, horn, aluminum, and bone.
